No offense to Dr. Zinn (don't know anything about him), but if you're in

Cleveland, why aren't you going to see Dr. Bruce Cohen (Cleveland Clinic),

one of the primary mito gurus? It wouldn't even be a question if I lived in

the area!!!!

I agree. But, I would then call Dr. Cohen's office and ask them who he

recommends for a mito evalation in the Cleveland area. Perhaps Dr. Zinn or

another physician works with Dr. Cohen or has trained with him.

Dr.Cohen is Not taking any new patients right now.

He is so full. I think that shows that he is anwesome Dr. and realizes that he can't perform at his highest level with an "overload" of patients. I respect a Dr. who wants to take care of the patients he has and not try to get as many as he can, which would make it impossible to spend the needed time with each patient.

I am not sure but I kinda think Dr.Zinn is in the same office. I could be totally wrong here but seems like I have heard his name while there.

Hi Sharon,

We have not seen Dr. Zinn or heard his name mentioned. We do see Dr. Kerr who is an endocrinologist at Rainbow Babies. In fact, he is the one who arranged 's muscle biopsy and gave us the results the very next day. We have been very pleased with the care that we have received at Rainbow Babies! In addition, we do see Dr. Cohen.

Also, Dr. Cohen and Dr. Kerr do work together if I remember correctly. We

have seen both of them with our 4 year old. And they work out of the same

lab too when doing the muscle biopsy.

this is a shocking statement to read...I can't believe they would know anything by then...did they just tell you, yes, he has mito or were they abnle to tell which defect in that short of time?
