I really celebrated yesterday as it was my last day of 35 radiation sessions. The dr. looked at my sunburned breast and said, " You're fantastic " But I really really feel like a load has been lifted off my back. I was so concentrated on making sure I got there every day, I put a lot of things on hold. I am 70 (June), was diagnosed with a biopsy just before Thanksgiving '05, Lumpectomy in Dec., IDC, Stage I, tumor was 1.2 which is a total of two tumors, had four months of chemo CMF, and then the 35 days of radiation. I see my oncologist Aug. 16th when he may put me on Arimidex (don't like the side effects). I am Her 2 negative, ER weakly positive, PR negative. So I may not need to take any other pills. But I will find out. I AM CELEBRATING!!!!!! Janet A

Guest guest
Thanks a bunch, . I am already scheduled to resume my volunteer job at the senior center on Aug. 14th. I left a week free to make sure to recover. But I only work three hours once a week. So I am having another celebration this Wednesday.......having lunch with my friends................. And getting to see my thirteen year old granddaughter. I am so proud of her. And her two brothers....... My prayers are with all of you on this list, Janet A
