Guest guest
Elaine, This is fascinating stuff! Thanks for sharing! I had actually gotten a root canal when I had the rash already, but it flared so badly after I had the root canal. That was one of the worst times I had with the rash. That is when the rash quit responding to ANY type of medication I had. Very interesting... -Miki
Guest guest
Wow, the article on "Root Canals" is amazing and scary! I know now that i would never have another root canal done. The unnerving part is what to do with the ones i already have. Unfortunately the ones i already have are in the front of my mouth. I heard to prepare for implants that the tooth has to be pulled and healed first before the implantation. I guess they would make false teeth to go in the holes until then. The second thing is financing thousands of dollars to do this. I already have an appointment on January 8th to prep my root canalled teeth for 2 bridges. I will have to do a lot of praying on this one. My poor husband has put up with so much mentally and financially because of these hives. Many trips to different doctors, etc., this has already cost up quite a bit of money. If we had the money I would make an appointment today to have them pulled and for implants. I'm very sensitive to metals of all kinds, possibly the implants wouldn't even take if i got them. Oh well, thanks for listening! Guest guest
Hi : Please let me know what happens. I am wrestling with whether or not to remove the one root canal I have in my mouth. I didn't have hives before I got it, they came a few years later. Nothing else has been found to be the cause of my hives, but the root canal doesn't bother me and it's hard to believe that it could be the cause. My husband thinks I should pull it. I don't know if I'm a candidate for an implant there because there may not be enough bone. So, it would mean a false tooth and the 2 on either side would have to be capped (perfectly good teeth) to support it. I'm really confused and don't know what to do. I met a Dr. 4 years ago who really felt that, when it came down to it, my root canal was the problem. I felt he was 'far-fetched' until I joined this group and you all have been discussing it. Any advice? Good luck to you and please keep us posted. Tami (NJ)
