My baby daughter had some patches on her skin (excema-like), so we have a giant tube of Protopic and it's not cheap! Does anyone know exactly what it's suppossed to do? I have lichen planus of the vulvar. Protopic is a cream to help

fight this skin condition. Protopic works for me only on my knees

and elbows. It burns for days if applied to my vulvar area (inner

labia). However, I use Temovate or Clobestol which is a steroid and

very powerful. It helps control the lesions. There is no cure for

this and most doctors feel it is an auto immune disease.
