Guest guest
There are some problems with many of the tests, at least in regards to masto, which may also apply in other cases. First, the 24 hour histamine test - in masto, the test performed should be the 24 hour METHYL histamine test; other urine histamine tests don't work. The urine test is based on the half-life of histamine. In the case of masto patients, they often cycle, so timing is everything. Plus, being on meds can affect the test results, so you are supposed to be off all meds when this test is performed. Obviously, if a person has that much histamine in their system, going off meds is NOT an option. Skin biopsy - This one can depend a lot on the training and expertise of the people taking and reading the sample. And if the wrong kind of stain is used, the results will be skewed. Ask - she's been there, done that with Alena. Air hugs, Jackie Life is tough, but I'm tougher. _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
