Guest guest
Hello there: I have tried to send this to the owner of the group, but Yahoo refuses send mail to multiple group owners. So I figured I would ask on the list. I'm new & I would like to fully participate in your group & do my part to help myself & others. Different groups have different rules & things going on. Could you please give me a brief summary of what to do in your group. I am trying to get organized & put everything in a calendar/checklist type form, so any help you could be would be appreciated. Do you have weekly weigh-ins? Should I be posting my food/points journal every day? Some lists don't like that. Do you have any ongoing challenges? What databases should I fill out? Any other newbie tips & information I should know? Thank you. Kimee
Guest guest
There is a database that I don't believe a lot of folks use. But listmom Lyn sends a reminder on Saturdays to post your weight. It's optional, you don't have to post your weigh in. Many folks post on their weigh in days. Some wait until they hit a milestone (lose " x " number of pounds, reach their 10%, reach goal, etc.). Journals are optional. I don't think most folks mind, as it often gives ideas on new foods to try. Some folks like me, have found out WHAT works for them and don't like to post them. They don't want to hear about what they're NOT eating or what they SHOULD be eating. There are no challenges that I can think of on this list. I had to go to no mail for a minute, so I coulda missed something. I'm sure others will fill in anything I missed. Kimee wrote: Hello there: Do you have weekly weigh-ins? Guest guest
I really like it when people post their journals because I get ideas on what to eat other than frozen dinners. Nancala's really help me when I read hers because she does not always eat the same things and I gain more ideas. Rhonda in TX -----
Guest guest
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Serious-Weight-Watchers-Journals/?yguid=144\ 879692 There is a Serious Weight Watchers journal group. It doesn't get a lot of activity, but everyone is welcome to give it a try and get it going. I've never been a journal poster because I do my journals on paper and keep them upstairs...and my computer is downstairs. But I do enjoy reading others' as well.
