There are several legal ones available by mail-order. Once I was able to tolerate a probiotic, about my 4th month after starting my yeast-elimination version of SCD, my candida-related symptoms began disappearing at a more rapid pace. I use the legal acidophilus from Kirkman Labs (and am giving the legal S. Boulardii a try as well), but there are several other ones. Lucy's Kitchen has the legal Lyosan Acidophilus, GIProHealth has SCDophilus, and Custom Probiotics also has a legal acidophilus, although you have to insist on just the one strain. There is a list at http://www.pecanbread.com/new/Sup1.html Kim M. I feel like I really need one so when I'm starving out these bad buggers I have something to put in their place. And, is the dosing of probiotics higher if you have candida?
