another unrelated condition that I read about is grinding teeth when asleep.

This was a dead giveaway for me.

Debbie,

If Armour will cure my husbands snoring, I will be SO happy. I do think it

will, because he didn't always snore, back in the days when he had some

energy.

Thanks for the hope!

Now I know these are related, but the general public would have no idea.

Neither did I until I became educated.

I wonder if we could get a poll of supposedly unrelated ailments that

people

have rid themselves of with optimal thyroid replacement.

I for one have gotten rid of TMJ, that I had for 30 years. Who would

have

ever connected this to thyroid? My top doc wasn't surprised at all

though.

My husband's snoring has imporved 500%. He didn't use to snore at all 11 years

ago and it just progressively got worse and worse as his hypothyroidism got

worse and worse. Of course, we didn't know until last Nov. that was what was

causing his snoring and mine so he tells me. Deb

Hi nne,

In my search to reduce my symptoms (being exhausted), I had a sleep study done.

My uvula was blocking my air but since I kept waking up, I did not get diagnosed

with Apnea (you need to remain asleep to choke?). I had a botox like injection

to the Uvula which improved my sleep (and my marraige - hehe) though the thyroid

is still an issue. Does he just purr or does he choke and gag?

Funny enough, docs are so eager to do the sleep study and so resistant to do

other tests. Of ins companies cover the sleep studies because they are about

$2,000 and a triple bypass is $160,000!
