I've found it best not to make a big batch since it only lasts a few weeks. But

you could can it if you needed to use up a lot of fruit. We have canned chicken,

beef, carrots, soup, applesauce, and hamb w/tomato sauce. All turned out well so

I'm sure fruit jam would too.
