Guest guest
The following is regarding Gelatine from Knox. I was told that gelatin capsules sometimes have hidden corn and wanted to make sure that this did not have it. It does not. The recipe for gummi bears, etc. is as follows: 3/4 cup juice (any flavor of choice) plus 1 pkg of Knox Unflavored Gelatine. Mix together on low heat. (add vits if desired after you remove it from heat). Mix until dissolved. Pour into candy molds. Put in refrigerator for about 10 minutes. And they are done. Vary the taste by adding cinnamon or nutmeg. A tad of sugar in the raw is good to. Zach can not have corn now and most sweets contain corn. So we now make our own gummi's. Guest guest
, you can buy the forms for candy or cookies and pour into those or pour into a square pan and cut them into diamond shapes. My kids are more interested in how they taste than what they look like. Betty in Central California ----- Original Message ----- > I am going to try your gummis . Is there a way to shape them? Mine were like fruit roll ups sorta. not very pretty. I did crush up some cranberry extract and put that in before spreading the mix. I bet you could put in alot of things that these kids hate to take. I think I might spruce up the homemade gummies some by adding some fruit next time or cinnamin. Great idea ( sorry I forgot your name whoever posted this recipe). They are real easy too. kelly << ' I was thinking the same thing make our own " yummi bears " vitamin. Has anyone tried this??
