Guest guest
just wondering if someone can offer some advise... i am low ferritin, and in my fourth week on t3 only, also on 30mg HC daily, which seems to keep my temps stable from day to day. the low ferritin thing has prevented me from really raising my T3 smoothly at all. i was on 40mcg generic, last sunday i went to 45mcg, the next day my ave temp dropped to 98.0, monday was 98.1, tues 98.2, wed 98.3, thursday i was back to feeling good again with temp of 98.4(i also happen to run out of generic on wednesday, so i transitioned to 37.5mcg cytomel...from 45mcg generic), friday was 98.5 and i felt great. yesterday, sat, i didnt get my averages cuz i slept most of the day, but still took all my supps on time. this morning i woke up at 10 and my first temp of the day was 99.0, second was 99.5, and my last one at 6:30 was 99.5. i felt hyper and nauseous all morning and by 3ish i felt like i had a full on fever, with aches and pains, etc.... and now my heart rate has settled down, i feel like i am through it, but now i have a wicked headache... like a horrible horrible hangover. i had taken my first two (of four) t3 doses before it really hit me in full affect, and so needless to say i skipped my 5-6pm dose of 6.25mcg... and then i normally do 12.5mcg at bedtime.... im wondering what the best thing to do here would be... skip my bedtime dose all together, take it, or half it? and then back to normal tomorrow? i am also wondering if since i have really added red meat to the mix this week on top of my 200mg iron daily, that i all of a sudden have more iron in my body which has allowed some of the t3 that was pooling (had no idea it was doing so though) into my cells, or do things not happen that fast? thank you so much in advance for any words of wisdom!!!! Guest guest
I am not sure of thta was a thyroid dump or a reaction to more T3 than your lwo ferritin can handle. I would take half dose tonight and tomorrow til you knwo for certain this is past. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
