Mike, glad to hear you’re recovering

so well after just barely a week! Keep up the good thoughts and healthy

outlook, sounds like you’re on the right track!

Morning all

Hi all just so excited this morning. Had my

surgery with Dr Baggs

this past Monday (Oct 18). down 17lbs in 6

days. Doing real good.

Healing well. No real pain just a little

sore. Taking as much

fluids as I can (that can be a chore), able to

gulp a big swig with

no problem. I am just amazed at how well it

is going. Yesterday

was a rough day only for the fact where I had that

evil thought

of " What did I do? " referring to all the

good tasting food I cannot

have right now because of the surgery. But I

just tell myself again

that food will not mandate my life; our lives are

so built around

the food we eat, the commercials we see, kitchens

becoming the focal

points in homes, all the fast food resteraunts out

there Food Food

Food... But ya know my life is NOT all about the

food I used to have

but the family and love we all share, I was able

to re-focus. I

think the bland tastes being on stage II modified

liquids were doing

that too me :-)

Hi Mike,

It is great to hear from you. I'm glad to know that you are doing so

well. Just keep walking, sipping, resting and all that and you will be

all healed up real soon.

It sounds like you've done a great job of re-focusing - and that is a

major component in succeeding in this journey.

I look forward to sharing your celebrations as you progress.

Take care,

Kay
