Guest guest
TO DSMCBEE1 Hi, As you probably read I have the same " problem " as you do with getting on meds as soon as I see green (grin). I also have a burning of the eyes even before the green starts. I think it is from my ethmoid sinus. I just had a scan of the sinus done and it was " basically " negative. I asked what basically meant. Doc said I had normal " stuff " in there. Could not get him to admit the sinus still had an infection. He ordered a spray with cortisone in it which I will not use. So I started a product called XLEAR. I get mine 3 at a time (for the whole family) from the vitamin shop...so far they are the least pricy. It kills germs on a daily basis and was made by a pediatrician for his grandchildren. Ok my question for you is....do you know the names of some of the antibiotics you have been on? I have been on 4 different ones since July. I still have green and burning. I think I've grown accostomed to them. I am allergic to sulfa and erythromycin including zithromax. I would really appreciate any names of new ones. Most of the time my doc says " so what do you want on now " ? I am a nurse and some docs actually respect that (unfortunately not many) LOL. Thanks so much in advance. cooky AP 1997 rheumatic Mino >Date: Mon, 13 Nov 2006 14:50:00 -0000 > >I'm on mino for RA. My question... will this antibiotic help with >sinus infections and such? Guest guest
Do you irrigate aggressively with saline (made yourself in warm water). You can also add goldenseal. My sinus infections stopped after I had a drainage system installed. . . . thankfully no infections for 17 years, just allergy. . . . are you sure the structures are working well? ew > >Ok my question for you is....do you know the names of some of the >antibiotics you have been on? Guest guest
Thank you Esther, I use xlear to irrigate. It is an anti bacterial. I am also looking into allergies. cooky RE: rheumatic Mino Do you irrigate aggressively with saline (made yourself in warm water). You can also add goldenseal. Sniffing up a half cup of warm saline has a much cleansing effect because of the volume of water--just in case you haven't tried it. I like x-clear for daily use too. -- Esther Warkov, Ph.D Member OMTA, SMTA Founder, The Piano Connection www.thepianoconnection.com 971.255-0388 (Portland) 206.417-0689 (Seattle) pianos@... esther_warkov@...
