Guest guest
Pineapple is very sweet, one of the sweetest fruits. It can feed yeast because of that. Maybe you can’t handle that level of sugar, even if monosaccharides. I know I have to watch how much of the very sweet fruits I eat (also strawberries, grapes, watermelon). n From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of kelley.williams@... We added pineapple yesterday, so I had that last night and at lunch today. Food reaction? Am I feeding yeast? I'm still not sure how to tell which is which... Thanks! Guest guest
I second n's comments. I tend to get hypoglycemic after I've had even the smallest amount of very diluted pinapple juice. I get very cranky and snappy as my first stage of hypoglycemia, other problems develop shortly thereafter.... A few days after having pineapple I would feel my first candida/yeast-related symptom, so I had to cut back on fruits again for a while. So, I don't have pineapple juice very often any more. Which is sad, as fresh pineapple was one of my favorite fruits. Can't eat it raw either -- too much fiber for my upper GI. I'd hold off on eating pineapple for a while, just in case it is causing your problems. Try it again in a few months when you know you're past any die-off phases. Or try juicing a pineapple instead of having it raw, so your digestion will tolerate it better (possible cause of the bloating). Kim M. Guest guest
Thanks! I started this diet with my kids and I'm learning a lot about why " I " need it! Kelley W. > > I second n's comments.
