Holly,

I would discontinue both the toothpaste and the mouthwash. What kind of mouth ulcers and where specifically were they, please?

You can find Colgate original or Crest original or Tom's of Maine, just make sure it doesn't say tartar control on the box or tube. Sometimes at the dollar stores or we have Job Lot here, they sell the old formulations ( original) that don't have all the fancy-pants stuff in it.

Give it a few weeks and see if your symptoms subside. It doesn't sound like thrush.
