Guest guest Posted July 8, 2006 Report Share Posted July 8, 2006 Hi girls, Well, it seems my podiatrist has asking some of his colleagues about having foot surgery during my weekly Herceptin treatment. He called me Thursday to say we'll have to wait until my treatment is finished as it could compromise or impede bone healing (!!) - now I'll have to wait till after January 2007. Oh well...and just when I had " psyched " myself up enough for July 31st! I have a really bad bunion, which now has developed bursitis on top of it. It got worse after finishing Taxol, which they believe affected that joint in my body (lovely). I think it's also from those damn high heels I wear to work now...much prefer sneakers!! Thank God for flip-flops during the summer!! Hope all of you have a good weekend...where's some of our regular girls??? Must be vacation time! I know Trisha must be in Maine by now, but where's Ren, Janet A, Carol from Michigan, Marjorie, etc.? Come out, come out wherever you are just to let us all know you're doing well. I always read everything but sometimes am neglectful in posting... Our summer has been really hot so far and that makes everything move SO SLOWLY...like my brain...followed by the rest of my body... plus dh is officiating the senior open in Kansas this week... so I am in charge of keeping all the tomatoes,watermelon,squash, etc watered- taking lots of time outside after I have been in my storefront all day.. does anyone outside the South eat okra?
