Guest guest
HI Becky, thanks hon for the great report and to me it sure does sound like you've got a great doctor there, (as well as being able to spend so much on you) Do you mind sharing her name and location? I'd surely appreciate it. (sorry if you did, I missed it) She's right about giving you the steroid Triamcinolone (I think) as well and it is a mid range potency. But still hon just don't overuse it, don't think if a little is good, more is better ok? Just enough to make a light film over the area and gently massage it in. She's sharp enough too to know about ointments being much preferred over lotions or creams... (which we tend to think of as being less strong or less potent but not true) the others have far too many extra base ingredients that might irritate. The ointments usually have none except the petrolatum base and the main ingredient (the steroid)... so far less likely to irritate. Interesting what she said about BMI (body mass index) and many being too thin? I've not heard that before, might be worth doing a poll on that. All in all hon it really does sound like it was an excellent appmt. and hope that things turn around for you with listening to her treatment suggestions, sounds good to me. *smile* HugsDee~ PS.... also what she mentioned about the glands.... That's a good question to ask ourselves as well, how many physicians have really checked those out! (the other would be the clitoris too, I know I've never had a physician check that out either and is just as important.) Good thing for any of us to ask our doctors about and to do..
