I have never had a spinal tap, but I have heard they are not fun at all. I am relieved she is home from the hospital now. Hopefully her creatinine will fall back a little bit after she is fully recovered. Give April a big hug from me and let her know she is in my prayers April. I hope she continues to recover and you both can have a restful and happy holiday! Amy G. update on april hello everyone,,,it has been a long time since i have posted,,just wnated to let everyone know how april is doing,,she has been doing great till 2 weeks ago,,and she got her flu shot,,and 2 days later she got deathly sick,,came down with pnuemonia,,and then she started to have really bad headaches,,so they admitted her in the hospital and they done MRI'S AND CT'S,,and they found she had spinal fluid building up on her brain,,she they did 3 spinal taps in the 9 days she was in the hospital,,she got to come home today,,,she feels much better now,,,,just pray for her for a full recovery,,bye for now,,,oh yeah her creatnine is .9 now..and her blood is at a trace now and protein is 1+...god bless u all...bye for now,,,crystal(aprils mom) To edit your settings for the group, go to our Yahoo Group home page: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iga-nephropathy/ To unsubcribe via email, iga-nephropathy-unsubscribe Visit our companion website at www.igan.ca.
