Vinegar is cheaper than those supplements. I think I'll keep on

experimenting on taking the two tablespoons without feeling like I'm

choking down medicine. You can't take it straight like a shot of whiskey,

that's for sure. It's too acidic and burns your throat. I'd like to find a

way to take it faster than having to drink a whole glass of liquid, though.

I have been taking it (2 Tablespoons) in 4 oz of V-8 juice, it goes down

fast and doesn't taste bad to me. Each half cup gets easier too. I saw a

low carb apple juice on the market that would probably accept the vinegar

nicely too. I didn't look at numbers because other than V-8 I don't use

juice at all.

The reason I want this and cinnamon to work and work good is so that when

Dr. Prescribum asks me what is changing my numbers, I can say Apple Cider

Vinegar and Cinnamon. . .hahahahahahahaha!

I like your attitude. I am also trying to get into the vinegar habit. I just use

water

and it is ok for me but I will try the V8 also.

I have always drunk my v-8 wirh lime juice as I prefer it that way. I

tried adding 2 tbs & it was perfectly acceptable. I don;t drink this 3

times a day however & sometimes not every day either.

Hello,

I was diagnosed with diabetes about 8 months ago and had a very difficult

time adjusting. The Dr. sent me to a nutritionist which was worthless. I am

now doing much better with bg's of 75 in the am. This group has helped me

beyond words.

I do have a question about the vinegar which I do believe works. I drink it

in a fruit tea in a mug. Does drinking 2 tablespoons a day have any effect

on the enamel of the teeth?

Thanks for all the help.

As I recall, vinegar is also available in tablet form . . . but I have no

idea if the strength or efficacy is equivalent to liquid.

Can't do that one is a volumn measurement and the other is a weight measure.

3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon (but mg in tablets cannot be directly converted

to tsp or tbs)

1 teaspoon = approx. 5 ml

According to some sources and proponents of vinegar tablets, a 600 mg

tablet is the equivalent of 1 teaspoon of cider vinegar.

http://www.n101.com/Static/Products/apple_cider_vinegar_tablets_076630029414.htm\

l

http://www.health-pages.com/ac/

http://www.site4.com/shops/ezslimdown/cider.html

One brand says their 500 mg tablets: " Each coated tablet is guaranteed to

contain 500 mg of Apple Cider Vinegar Powder, equivalent to 5 mL liquid

apple cider. "

http://www.zooscape.com/cgi-bin/maitred/GreenCanyon/questp406578

Yet another brand says that one 100 mg. tablet of their Cider Vinegar

tablets is the equivalent of 1 teaspoon of cider vinegar. " Each tablet

contains the equivalent to one teaspoon (5 ml) of apple cider vinegar.

Derived from apple cider vinegar. "

http://www.iherb.com/cidervinegar1.html

http://www.webvitamins.com/product.aspx?id=9822

I guess it depends upon how each tablet product is formulated.

OK but that still does not let us compare the amount of vinegar we are

getting in each tablet. One needs to take 2 tbs of vinegar before each

meal so.........?

I looked through some conversion sites to no avail. I did find out that 2T

liquid equals 1 liquid ounce.

If 1 teaspoon liquid = 5 ml and each pill is equivalent to 5m, you need

6 pills before each meal. A teaspoon is 1/3 of a tablespoon.

I have no idea what either the pills or the vinegar costs, but have a

feeling the vinegar would cost a whole lot less.
