Guest guest
> Did you ever think to use it on your vulvar symptoms?????? > TKOPT > www.tomocklerpt.com Hi Tom - I didn't ever think of it as a possible treatment for my physical pain. I was advised to use it for anxiety or stress. I also have never read anything about it, just followed a protocol that the counselor gave me verbally and I wrote it down. I have downloaded the manual and I'm going to read it to familiarize myself with this technique and consider it for my pain. I also wanted to mention that in the last seven years of having painful intercourse, I have tried two things that helped for awhile - estrogen cream and physical therapy. I went to a great PT in Seattle in 2003 who said that my coccyx was shifted forward and to the side and that I had poor tone in my levator ani muscle. She adjusted the coccyx and did some very painful muscle release techniques. After the first appointment I would say that my pain level went from a 7 to a 3. It was amazing. The pain relief faded after about 6 to 8 weeks. I went back to see her a couple more times that year, but for whatever reason additional adjustments and work did not give me the same level of pain relief as the first appoint. I live in Alaska, so getting to Seattle regularly is not that easy for me. I also had some luck with estrace a couple of years ago, but it made me have break through bleeding and, since I have endometriosis, that worried me. I am back experimenting with estrogen cream again after chaning birth control pills - so maybe the estrogen won't cause bleeding. I'm having a lot of trouble with the cream causing burning and stinging - which is an awful lot like the symptoms I'm trying to get rid of. Anyway...just a few comments. Thanks for your contributions on this list. Sally
