It bothers me to see so many of my friends here feeling so bad, this damned disease is trying its best to win but we won't let it. It's trying to kick my butt the high doses of pred i've been on doesn't seem to be doing a thing but packing on a few pounds if ya know what I mean. I had a funeral to attend today and Its the first one i've had to go to in a long time and those things give me the willys. But I had to be there for Corrina and . I have an appointment at Vanderblt with the ID doc on the 16th to check into the dna thing and I hope that turns up something. I've got to get a grip on this pain or a doc that will listen and give me something more manageable than just the morphine its just not cutting it anymore. Yopu take care of you and if I can ever do anything for you let me know. With the help of two provigils I was able to attend my younger son's band concert (I try to make sure I make at least one a year). All of my healthcare workers INSISTED I wear a mask -- which was made worse by the fact that my husband took me around and introduced me to his colleagues before I had a chance to take it off for a couple of seconds! The concert was lovely, though. Tonight is my methotrexate night so the nest 2-3 days will be bad. I imagine I will be AWOL, but one never knows.
