Guest guest
Hi, Ronnie, The only problem with your Klonipin script is that it may not have been written for Clonazapam, the generic drug. With BCBSNC, I pay $10 co-pay for Clonazepam and $35 for Klonipin. I have been taking the drug for a number of years. It was prescribed after a sleep test where nocturnal leg spasms were disturbing my sleep. The spasms were not enough to wake me up, just enough to ruin my rest. I take one .5 mg tablet before bed. I have been assured by both PCP and neurologist that I can take the med at this level with no problems. And I also take Amitriptyline (50 mg) at the same time. Again the dosage is maintenance, and I have experienced no problems taking both. The Amitriptyline was also prescribed after the sleep study, to reduce teeth grinding which resulted in daily headaches. Now if I would just go to bed earlier..... So, I do not think that the Klonipin at the .5 mg dosage would be any problem for you. Don
