My daughter is doing the intro but she will not do broth. Is there anything

wrong with getting a lot of vegetables (carrots, celery, spinach, chard, kale,

etc.), boiling them for 4 hours and then just having her drink the water they

were boiled in?

Thanks,

Kathy

No, but how is that different from broth?

You could puree the vegetables using the cooking broth as well.

But I wouldn't use chard and kale right away for puree - they are more

advanced.

i don't know how young your daughter is, but i can get my girls to take something like that in a medicine syringe (like the ones you get a target with kid medicine). it doesn't get much in but it is better than nothing and i dont' think they taste as much b/c they suck it down. they think it is fun. it works for my kids ages 1-5. or you could get a crazy straw or something fun and have a contest to trick her into drinking it..... if she is older, that might not work.

good luck! p
