I only speak to her son , and get updates from him on her progress and on how the family is. I am pretty blunt in what I ask sometimes however but I do want to know how the kids are. I promised to look after them. Rose, I am taking care of myself which is why you havent seen much of me. In between upping doses of medication I've been sleeping, depressed, sleeping & depressed. When they said this drug can cause emotional swings they weren't kidding. If I'm still alive and having these problems by next appointment I m going to tell my immuno that he is lucky his patient hasn't slashed her writsts yet. Especially if he so much as mentions weight issues. I might just cry at him, he can't cope with that. Thank you for lighting me a candle but please, focus on Shar, she really needs it right now. Jan, thank you for your love and friendship, I am hanging in here. Again, please focus on Shar, she is the one who needs the energy. But I so appreicate your caring. She is now undergoing chemo and other treatments to prolong her life. She has brain sarc...I believe almost 85% of her brain. And most of her liver has sarc, too, I believe. Aisha knows the most about it and I am sure some of the moderators do , too. She needs alot of prayer to make it through this. This is not her first time with chemo either. Shar is a long time member of this group, she joined when it was new.., she is one of the most intelligent and down to earth people you would ever want to meet.. she had and showed compassion for all and would give you a good butt jerking if you so needed.. She herself was a doctor and then a psychologist.. she use to come to the chat room quiet often to answer question especially to the new people and help share her knowledge, and her prior experiences with others...yes she is a sarc patient, she's a teacher to her doctors, I'm sorry you didn't get to meet her, those of you that did not, I hope you get the chance....Aisha updates us weekly on her progress through her Live Journal, this is her addy, go there read it, it shares who Shar is, and what she's about.. Talking with your husband and family, and even getting counseling when needed is helpful. My family and husband have been great, it took them awhile to see the seriousness of this disease, but once they did it was easier for all. Welcome to our family. You have been such a good friend and inspiration to all of us here not to give up and to fight tooth and nail this cruddy mess no matter how it manifest's itself in our bodies.
