I spoke with a lady named Jan B. she said I had to go through Modesto because that is where I have been going. I called Kaiser and they said they have no psych in Modesto I have to go through Stockton. I have left another message with Jan on Friday and am hoping to get a return call from her. Guest guest Posted October 12, 2004 Report Share Posted October 12, 2004 Hi Kristie, Sorry to hear you are getting the run around from Stockton Kaiser. Avoid them if at all possible. If you can believe it, I got a call from the psych dept there (STKN) 6 months after I had already had my psych evaluation done through Pleasanton. Stockton is notorious for being backlogged and INSENSITIVE to those in the GBP process. You can call the Pleasanton facility today and they will book you for an appt. within two weeks! The gentleman who did my psych evaluation was Dr. Lipsker. He is very familiar with the GBP process and evaluation. The number to call to book an appt. with him is . I am so excited. So now that I will have went to that and my nutrionist referall is in when does my PCP send in an application or whatever it is that she needs to turn in? Thank you so much for this help I was and still have gotten no where with Stockton they havent even called me back yet. So my appt is with the Dr. that you said. Do they just ask questions about my weight? Or are they making sure I am mentally strong enough to handle this?
