Guest guest
Hi Alixe, Your B12 level is very low, and I would consider you dangerously deficient. B12 serum level should be at least 550, and is best above 1,000. Here is the best forum for B12 deficiency on the Internet: http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=9948 & page=1284 It's a different kind of forum, and takes a while to get used to. But it is well worth it. I don't know much about WBC, and cannot comment on that. Pam
Guest guest
Thanks, Pam, I did just post my results there. You're right - the group is a bit different to navigate. Do you have any other good resources for me to read up on B-12 deficiency? I haven't yet talked with my doc about my labs, and technically they show in the " normal " range, so I'd love some great online resources to read up on where I should be ideally and what could be causing this. Guest guest
Thanks, Pam - since I last posted to you I got a response (from , I think) and started doing a lot of reading. I agree - a ton of good information on that site. Thank you SO much for responding to my post earlier and sending me in the right direction. You saved me a lot of digging. When you initially get lab results and see you're " in range " one tends to think things are ok or not so bad. I should know better from my thyroid experiences - and others - often terrible lab ranges that don't tell the story and you need to dig in more.
