Hi Marilyn,

Totally am aching the Gout.. Thankfully it is so much better!!

I was having a couple of tablespoons of the liver a day too..

Now I have Gout triggers etc.. Anything else to add to the list?

Speaking of this topic Marilyn, have you ever come across this company?

http://www.drrons.com/grassfed-new-zeland-organs-glands-intro.htm

It's gland supplements made from pasture raised New Zealand meat- no fillers and

such. Not asking about legality on this one as I have not looked into getting a

letter head etc.. But was wondering if taking Gland supplements like this can

cause Gout?

My Integrative doc says no.. She also said she wouldn't want to see me on

something like this or any gland supplement but the Pancreas supplement has

natural enzymes which might make the Pancreas feel better as it is becoming very

hard to find a compounding pharmacy that will compound pancreatic enzymes to be

SCD compliant. I just don't want to take illegals on an on-going basis. I need

to take so many OTC enzymes now like 2-3 with every snack/meal that I am unsure

if I am doing too much of that. It greatly eases my discomfort. My doc said I

should just take it until we figure out what's going on.

Is taking like 18 pills of enzymes over-kill? This concerns me.

Also, this gland company also makes a liver supplement that my mom took after

her ovarian surgery (she was bleeding a lot and was very anemic)

Let's **assume** legality for a second- what do you think about gland

supplements? Yay or Nay?
