Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge of Dr. Martuza at Mass General?

Hi , Dr. Martuza is GREAT!!! He did 5 of my 7 AN surgeries. I like him very much. It's too bad that he's not doing NF2 surgery anymore :-(

Hey, I got a funny story...I had my first 2 operations in NYC. Then, I went for my next 2 surgeries at Mass General with Dr. Martuza. Then, I decided to go to school in Washington DC. And who do I find is moving to WDC? Dr. Martuza! He did my last 3 operations at town. Wait...the story doesn't end there...

I decided to move home. Back North, to Maine. I now see Dr. MacCollin at Mass General for follow up. But who do I find out is back at Mass General??? Dr. Martuza!!

DO YOU THINK HE'S FOLLOWING ME AROUND???

DR Martuza is first rate; he wrote an article for AN Notes this past issue

that concerned NF2/Ans, and was really good; 12 years ago, when three

doctors insisted I did not have NF2, Martuza took one look at the SAME MRIs,

and said, she definitely DOES have NF2; also, I think the Fred Getz family

dealt with Martuza a lot when he was in DC and liked him. Marie
