Walk around the plane and get some excesise There are a lot of jet leg things you can do and find on the web. LAX LA airport has a money exchange place and a duty free buying place. Dont forget you WILL be tired apon arriving to OZ so plan accordingly. REST Ask your doc for some sleeping pills I did they help to REST Remember the time exchange, Dont get you tics until a month or 2 or 3 before. They will be cheaper hen. The airline is trying to fill up thier plane they give out cheaper tics. Investigate gett6ing a travel agent or TA. They will have info for you like customs papers and travel insurance info. Travel insurance is a MUST. My luggage was lost for 3 days.when I went to NZ. Joanie
Guest guest
All good advice but I beg to differ on the waiting til 2 to 3 months before you buy. From my experience they always go up the closer the date is to leave. Just to a search of going to Oz now, say you leave on feb 1st, they still cost $1500 a tick. AAA told me as they fill up they go hirer so buy as long in adv ance as you can. I paid $500 to fly to vegas last year, I bvought my ticks in january, they cost 299 in october. Guest guest
I agree, and we bought 2 tickets. That was the lowest fare we could find anywhere at that time, I believe it was late January, a month and half before departure date. Better buy those $230 ticks now.
