New to BTVC diet and can't find DCCC in Berkeley, California

I am new to BTVC and I seem to be unable to find this dry curd

cottage cheese spoken about in the book. I know the book is older and

from the east coast so I was wondering if there is another name for

the stuff or a way to mail order or even make it at home. I go into

natty groceries and no one knows what I'm talking about.
