They want your credit card because unless you cancel they will start billing you after the two weeks are up (rather like aol). After the two weeks are up it is then 29.95 for three months and then 12.95 a month each month after that. I am using my free two weeks to type in all my family favorite recipes and find the point value. Our leader just gave us cards with the codes on them. Otherwise, it will only renew for 1 mo at a time. I get soooo mad because if you forget you end up paying the additional costs. It didn't used to do that but I think they've changed it because obviously they're not getting enough money. NOT!! Makes no difference how much you try to argue with them.
