Guest guest
Hey Amy! Yup, super busy at work, and trying (like usual) to get caught up before I leave for Mayo later in the week. Had some unfortunate things happen at work over the past week, so was deep within the self pity mode. Not a good place to be, and certainly not like me to be there. Did you hear about Penrose Senior Clinic patients being transferred over to the care of Peak Vista? Many patients are coming our way already. Well, I'd better run, I'm so far behind, and as you know in this weather, it's gonna take me longer than usual to get home tonight. Thoughtfully thinking of you and your wonderful family. Guest guest
Ack no I hadn't heard about the patients being transferred like that...no wonder you are busy. Good luck at Mayo! I go into Dr. Y on Tuesday to talk about my latest labs and to see where we go from here with my prednisone treatment. Drive careful going home, hopefully I25 will be clear for you. My hubby brought extra food in with him tonight just in case it got bad and he couldn't leave, looks like the roads are still open going out to the AFB so he should be able to come home once the graveyard crew gets in. Last winter his crew got stuck in for 30 hours straight...they have a job that must be manned 24/7 so the guys took short naps in shifts to keep things covered. Man was he happy to get home after that one. Amy G. Re: Bonnie Hey Amy! Yup, super busy at work, and trying (like usual) to get caught up before I leave for Mayo later in the week. Guest guest
Me too Amy. I was hoping it was just her kids visiting from Germany that was keeping her away, but it has been a while since we heard from her. I really miss members when we have not heard from them in a while! Thank goodness prayer reached further than email does. Guest guest
Hi Bonnie Glad you had a break. Do you really think you can catch up on 3000 messages :-) The last time that happened to me, I just took up where the new ones started. Everyone should take a break from being a renal patient every now and then, except for any diet or treatment that might be necessary, of course. It's not good to think of disease all the time.
