Guest guest
It depends on how you're set up. In Cali, we have 2 programs you can sign up under. We have the one where we pay $10.95 each week, we get 3 free miss passes every 26 weeks. So if you use 3 and then the 4th one you can't afford, then you would have to pay for that missed meeting. The other one is where you have to go at least once a month (or once every 3 weeks), that one is $14 I believe. That one you don't have to pay for missed meetings. It's a convenience for folks who may not be able to make every week, but don't want to be penalized for not being able to make every week. I know many states have just one program, where you have to go every week and then have to pay for missed meetings. I *don't* believe that those states have any missed meeting options, but I'm not 100% sure. But either call WW or go to the website and enter your zip code. Then it will describe the meeting options you have in your area and if there are options for missing meetings and not having to pay. But if there is no option to be able to skip a meeting and not pay, then when you go next time, they'll collect that weeks meeting fee, plus the meeting fee(s) of the weeks you missed. serenityHS@... wrote: Hi, I'm am clean out of money and I haven't been able to weigh in this week. Guest guest
That sounds great Gymmie. Here in NJ there is no missed meeting options. Miss a meeting - pay the missed meeting fee. If you miss two or more weeks though, its' cheaper to rejoin.... Mitch *~*Gymmie*~* wrote: >It depends on how you're set up. In Cali, we have 2 programs you can sign up under. Guest guest
Hi, I haven't posted yet or introduced myself, have been trying to catch the feel of the group... I joined WW end of Sept, the last week of free registration. I joined under the plan that one could miss up to three meetings without having to pay. My weekly fee is 9.95. I missed a meeting in Oct when I drove to VA and met my son's ship return from the Gulf. Then I missed another meeting in November when another son was very very ill in the hospital and I wouldn't leave his room (the previous week I had weighed in and then left to bring him home from hospital but there was a terrible complication and alas, he was returned to ICU that evening), then in December I missed another meeting when Army daughter was home on leave and we went Christmas shopping in another town and got lost and didn't get back in time, then another meeting after it had rained freezing ice and I slipped on ice on stairs decided I'd better just go home and not venture out, missed another meeting when a co-worker called in sick and I had to close the clinic and by then I figure whew, am I going to owe a lot of dollars. Well, this month is free registration so I just rejoined!! (I was unable to go to any other meetings due to work schedule and home health nursing hours for my son who requires 24 hour care) So hopefully no more hosital stays (was in a total of 6 weeks between two hospital stays Oct-Dec)! Lynn 244/206/and no idea what goal I'm suppose to have Mitch Javeline <mitch@p...> wrote: > That sounds great Gymmie. Here in NJ there is no missed meeting options. Guest guest
I don't understand why everyone doesn't have that option. Not everyone is rich and sometimes, keeping the lights on or gas in the car to get to work is more important then WI. But, that doesn't mean you'll have double the next time. But you are right, it is often cheaper to rejoin. It really is nice to have those times when you know life is going to be hectic and you just can't make it or the finances won't cooperate. Mitch Gymmie in Cali °Ü° The difference between fat and fit is " I " What you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas isn't nearly as important as what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving
