Hi Jackie,

It's amazing with the symptoms you mentioned, I do have some of those

symptoms for example:

>- - DPU, sun, exercise induced this all is doing better since i'm on Z/Z

>combo, but it still does happen, just not as often or severe.

>- as far as the GI tract, I have to be very cautious as to what I eat, I

>don't get diarrhea, but it sure feels like there is a race car in there, I

>do get pains in my stomach along with the severe bouts of gas if I'm not

>careful with what I eat, this NEVER used to be a problem. I can no longer

>have any kind of dairy products, i'm now on Soy milk

>- lymph glands that swell sometimes on my neck, especially by my left ear,

>which causes ear aches. Seems better on higher doses of Zyrtec

>- i tend to flush - turning red or having a difficult time cooling down if

My thoughts are a lot of this are due to severe allergies. Like I said, It

would be hard for me to believe I have masto, but I will let them do

testing, just to be sure. I know that you and know what you are

talking about, so therefore, I will speak up to the doctors and have them

start the ball rolling. Hopefully it won't be masto. Again, thanks for

your help and knowledge. Let me know what you think about the above.

Take care, Ann

Hi, Ann. All I can tell you for certain is these are symptoms shared

by masto patients. From what I have been reading, the more symptoms a

person has, the more likely they have masto. The flushing seems to be

real common, as does lymph system involvement. I've noticed on the

masto board several of the people there have mentioned having

enlarged spleens (part of the lymph system) and/or enlarged livers.

My understanding is these are signs of systemic involvement. I hope

you don't have masto, but I think it might be a good idea to rule it

out if possible.

Air hugs,

Jackie
