Hi Signia, waiting is very hard, so check with your doctor to try to have the ultrasound earlier. I had mine done the same day as my momogram. Like the other ladies said, most lumps are not cancerous. And if they are not, as far as i know, the ultrasound will show it. In my case, the mamomgram was suspicious and the ultrasound even more. That was a very bizarre afternoon in my life... Otherwise they still will have you do more tests just to be on the safe side. And believe me, it is better to be on the safe side, even if you have to wait for the tests. Cancer treatments got much better over time. They are not a breeze like some people think (yes I heard this and infuriates me, although I should be as calm as I can...), but they are better. Hugs signia rodriguez wrote: good morning everyone.
