Pulmonary Fibrosis & prednisone

I have a 68% function in my lungs & the doctor prescribed prednisone.

Does anyone have feedback on what else works in place of prednisone? I

am taking 100 mg minocycline 2 times a day. Just started it 1 1/2

weeks ago. Have had a mild headache from time to time as the only side

effect.

I think my eyes are being affected from the scleroderma. Any

suggestions here. I am seeing a doctor who uses A/P at the end of

January & I am hoping to get a better idea of what is going on from

him.
