Thanks for replying , it sure was helpful and it was nice to hear (pardon the pun) how well it works....if I can just ask you another question, did you get any facial paralysis with getting a ABI, I gather you had it done in America. Thanks

ABI for

I was deaf for 7 years before I got the ABI. Now I would NOT give it up for nothing. I can hear very well with it. I can’t hear phone conversations yet, but I can tell when it rings and when there is a dial tone and things like that. I listen to music and if there is a song I knew before going deaf on the radio I can sing along. In other words it sounds a lot like I remember it. At first it was a lot of beeps and whistles but my brain adapted to it I guess. I HIGHLY recommend it!
