Guest guest
Emm, my legs and feet get cold because there is no circulation, or very little, because they are paralyzed and all the fluid rushes to them because I cannot move them. My left leg has some movement but my right leg is dead for the most part and the right foot is as dead as a door nail. The Dr. tells me to try to move them as much a possible, but my balance and dizziness prevent that from happening. I just rub them from time to time to get some circulation going......in Illinois
Guest guest
I also have bad circulation in my left leg due to those pesky spinal buggers. 5 minutes after I take my shoes and socks off my foot turns a rather lovely purple colour (that's if you survive the stink from my sweaty feet!!) Guest guest
When I read of your poor leg circulation, I wondered if you've considered those cuffs that they use in the hospital to keep up your circulation after surgery and prevent swelling? It seems that this once or twice a day for 10 -15 minutes would be very helpful. Perhaps you can rent this from a supplier and do it yourself. Guest guest
Have you (either of you??) tried getting a massage?? My sis has purple feet naturally and she was told its from poor circulation and congestion??in the legs. The massages (on the legs) take away most of the purple for quite a while but you need to get more, an upkeep thing. I havent done it yet but im thinking of it. My PT lady said its a helpful thing for rehab~~Lowi:) Re: Hi Jean > > > > > > When I read of your poor leg circulation, I wondered if you've considered > > those cuffs that they use in the hospital to keep up your circulation > after > > surgery and prevent swelling?
