Guest guest
My eczema got really bad from week 3-5 when I did the candida version of SCD. It is just one way for the body to detox. Epson salt baths help take the edge off.

Guest guest
I'm not sure if mine got worse, but it has definitely stayed at least the same. I've been hoping by now that it would start to improve. I just read in the Nutritional healing book that low stomach acid can be a factor with eczema, so I just started adding some to my diet and I think it may have helped a little.Skin reactions at the beginning of the diet are common though because it seems to be part of the healing reaction---the body is getting rid of toxins. While my eczema didn't get worse, I developed small pimples all over my rear end and the back of my shoulders for months. Then those cleared up and they appeared on the front of my left thigh (why only the left? don't have a clue). So it may be that the eczema is your body's way of ridding itself of toxins----I don't have facts about this, I'm just hypothesizing after hearing about all of the skin issues some people experience in the first months on the diet.Take careJeanineceliacscd jan07Is anyone else having more trouble with eczema on SCD? I've been on the diet for 3 months and the whole time the eczema is the worst it's ever been???
