Guest guest
I get the gwaltney brand bacon. It has nitrites in it, but it is sugar free. I haven't found a bacon that is both sugar and nitrite free. I love bacon too much to give it up. Guest guest
Misty, I went to Walmart and looked at the Gwaltney bacon there( I had read other posts that one could find it there) and none of it was sugar-free. Could you please tell me what type you have that is sugar free? There were 3 or 4 different types of Gwaltney bacon labels that I read. Oh, and anywhere else to find it, because obviously my Walmart doesn't carry it. Also can't find it at whole foods. I don't have a Costco near me, either. Thanks, Terry Re: Bacon??? Guest guest
Hi Terry, Here is a direct link to it from Wal Mart's website. I know I've ordered items online and had them shipped to my local Wal Mart. I'm not sure if you can do that with food though. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10452714 or http://tinyurl.com/dbkpmv Ingredients: Cured With Water, Salt, Sodium Phosphates, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite Misty Kimble CD - no meds SCD - 14 months > > Misty, > I went to Walmart and looked at the Gwaltney bacon there( I had read other posts that one could find it there) and none of it was sugar-free.
