Guest guest
You sound like somebody who ought to try LDN along with your limited SCD. Have you? n From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of kkmumbower Sent: Sunday, March 29, 2009 9:14 AM To: BTVC-SCD Subject: Re: Re: SCD+fructose mal I am on SCD and don't use honey. Although I haven't been diagnosed with fructose malabsorption, I also don't eat more than one serving of fruit, either cooked or juiced, per day and can only tolerate a few fruits (the least-sweet types). So I guess you could say I'm low-fat, low-fiber, low-fructose, non-dairy, bland SCD [grin]. I still consider I'm on SCD even though I only eat about half (or less) of the permitted foods and have to adjust things constantly for my digestion. I am eating SCD foods, but I also have to accomodate my functional digestive disorders and my other health issues. I feel I eat well, just within a limited selection of foods. I make an occasional SCD recipe, though, just have to substitute and adjust things to suit my needs. Works for me. I've achieved digestive symptom management, which was my main goal all along, and my general health is great. I've come a long way in five years. I'm still dealing with neuromuscular and spinal deterioration, but that's another story and not issues that I expect SCD to resolve. Kim M.
