Guest guest
I haven't had chance to mail for a while, so here are 3 fairly unrelated issues. 1. It seems a shame that people are having to remove pictures because we are running out of space, just because a picture is old doesn't negate it's usefulness to others. Some of the pictures in the files area are quite large, and could be reduced in size without any real loss of quality. If anyone thinks that their pics are too big I am happy for people to mail them to me at craig.mcarthur@... so that I can attempt to reduce the size and mail them back so that they can be uploaded to yahoogroups. If that doesn't make sense, mail me at the above address and I will try to explain further....... If we are still short of space I am happy to set up a website jus to host our pics (password protected if deemed necessary), there is plenty of free webspace around. I do feel that the photos serve a useful purpose for all of us. 2. Someone mentioned recently about removing the old message when replying to a mail, the stuff that starts with >>> or http etc. I get the daily digest of 25 messages and it can be quite cluttered with all of the historical (hysterical?? ;-) ) postings. As I often print out the mails at work to bring home for other people to read I have written a program that strips out the clutter and sends the result straight to the printer to read at my leisure, if this would be of use to anyone plese mail me and I will send you a copy. 3. It came to my attention that a small (yet surprisingly large) percentage of parents of RSS children in thr UK work in the dental field, e.g. dentists, dental nurses etc. which made me wonder whether there was any relevance, i.e. exposure to x-rays, mercury etc. Are there any more dental type parents out there? It is almost certainly coincidental, but it is always worth asking the question I think. Craig ( Dad to Greg, 88cm and eating much better now that he is taking Gaviscon!) Guest guest
Hi Craig, my name is Simone Price and fairly new to the group. I am Dutch, husband is Welsh , living in Holland (no support group here in Holland) 1. I have a 29mth old daughter with RSS (76 cms and 8kg) Sorry don't know inches and lbs. (and also two boys w/o RSS). Anyway I am curious, where can I see pictures. I have never seen another child who has RSS so I would be very interested to see pictures of other children. 3. Both me and my husband never worked in the dental field. Just to let you know. I would think coincidence.
