It is 5:22 PM here in Alabama and getting dark...But to me it is

bright as day...Ty called about and hour ago and said, " Mama, I'm

coming home. " It will take a couple of months or it could be next

week...You never know with the military..He saw his doctor today and

evidently the Doc hit the ceiling when he found out what all Ty had

endured the past couple of weeks in training and not getting to see

him...The Dr. is a LT. COL. and he called the CO who is a lowly Capt

and gave him a piece of his mind...The Chaplain called me today and he

is to see Ty and find out what is going on...All Ty can worry about is

being a burden to me when he gets home..Said, " Mama, you have got to

find me a job " ..Now you tell me how in the you know what am I going to

find him a job and I don't know when he is coming...LOL...Also we are

concerned about medical benefits and the baby's insurance..Looks like

if conceived while he was in the service, that this would be

taken care of...I don't know about this stuff...Cousin who works at VA

says that Ty should be fixed for benefits...Army just not like it used

to be..they don't take care of things like they did years ago..They

even have to pay for their haircuts...LOL..Ya'll keep your fingers

crossed and your prayers coming...as I always say, GOD'S WILL BE

DONE...Take care...I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY...Good two days..and itching up

a storm...Jackie, thanks for the recipe....

Love,

Rita

Rita,

I am so happy for you that Ty is coming home!!! Last week my feet were so swollen and could hardly walk (I had to put my slippers on at work because my feet would no longer go in my shoes) and all I could think about was Ty's swollen feet stuffed inside those big ol' army boots and my heart ached for him.

This is so great news. I hope he gets home sooner than later.

Dear Rita,

As I read your note, my heart was lifted about a mile. You must be in

heaven. I know there's lot's to think about when Ty gets home, but

for now, just worry about getting him home. You sound like a God

loving woman, and you probably already know, that He will take care of

you and Ty. So, don't sweat the small stuff :o) You got another

grand baby to love....

Love Terry, ps I still got my flag on for Ty, when he gets home, I'll

send it to him...
