While on the combo, my blood was monitored monthly to see what the RA

numbers were doing. When all my bloodwork showed normal (I think there are

seven

tests they look at), I was considered in remission and dropped off all but the

Minocin maintanance dose. For 18 months I have only been on the maintanance

dose of Minocin. When I had a little flare, I took the Minocin mon through

friday for three weeks which seemed to put me back into a no pain-no stiffness

mode. That has only happened once and I had gotten a little sloppy about

taking the mon-wed-fri dose. Needless to say I wont skip doses again!!!
