Given how sensitive you are, I'd say dried fruit that you dehydrated. Organic. What fruits and nuts do you currently tolerate? (And no snide comments anyone! Yes, I realize there are a lot of fruits and nuts running around out there!) Let me see if I can come up with something for you. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, Just in general- are there brands of dried fruit that are ok? How do we know those don't have illegals in them? This is what I am eating these days; Different meats, fish Eggs in recipes (not too much) Variety of veggies; Zucchinis, Squash, Brocolli, Flat Leaf Kale, Cauliflower, Carrots (small amount), Fennel, A little spinach. Cooked Garlic, onion, flat leaf parsley, cilantro, fresh herbs. Would like to try tomatoes this week. I eat apples, oranges, pineapples, pears, avocado, strawberries (cutting the seedy part off) lemons, tangerines, peeled apricots, juiced raspberries, a banana once in a blue moon in a recipe. I mostly juice fruits and I eat 2 cooked apples every other day. I keep fruit intake super minimal. It's not like I eat all of this every day. I mostly will juice fruit. Like fresh OJ or pineapple juice and I dilute. I eat canned sardines, canned mackrel and canned tuna. Ghee, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut oil, Sesame Oil. Vanilla extract and Vanilla pods. Sea salt, Black & red and white pepper. Paprika, Cardamom, Nutmeg, A little Tumeric. I eat a small amount of pecans and Cashews are a real treat and my achilies heel as I go a little psycho with cashews- apparently very high in starch. It would just be nice to have some snacks to take with me not only for the plane but in general during my stay in Israel- that way I can travel between families without getting hungry or needing to eat out or eat it non-accommodating kitchens. Anyway, I am kinda a fruit and nut myself- thanks for the shout out! Jodi > Given how sensitive you are, I'd say dried fruit that you dehydrated.
