Lyosan Acidophilus Probiotics

Hi All,

I recently bought Lyosan Acidophilus probiotics, believing that they

are SCD-compliant. In the past I've used culturelle probiotics from

drugstore.com, whose only ingredients are lactobacillus GG.

I was surprised to see that the lyosan probiotics contain skim milk

powder. How can they be SCD compliant? (unless, of course, the

lactose has been eliminated, as is the case with milk in cheese).

I'm now worried about taking the lyosan probiotics -- especially

since I seemed to do well for quite some time on the culturelle.

Thanks,

Are you speaking of Lyosan probiotics, or Lyosan yogurt starter?

Hi Marilyn,I'm speaking of the lyosan probiotics capsules.  I had believed them to be SCD compliant, and bought them from an SCD "safe" online store, but the ingredients (namely, skim milk powder) worry me.Thanks,Jill>Posted by: "Wizop Marilyn L. If you bought them from Lucy's Kitchen Shop, they are SCD compliant. The

tiny amount of skim milk powder is not an issue for people, unless they

are sensitive to cow casein, which is not generally the case.

If it is a problem for you, then go with GIProHealth's dairy-free

acidophilus.
