We are allowed to have opinions in this wonderful free country, wanted or not. And we are all allowed to agree or disagree with others, as long as we are respectful. I guess I was originally moved to speak because you stated in your post that it was not " appropriate " . If you were just doing your moderator duties to uphold a rule then maybe it should of been stated that in the beginning instead of coming across as an opinion. Do not leave the group because a few people didnt agree with you.... thats the hard part about being a moderator or an owner of a group. You sometimes have to do things that some wont agree with and get flack for it. Be strong and stand by your decision. I would just recommend that you explain it a bit better in the future. Now.... to give my opinion once again... lol I dont feel that talk about a party is solicitation or sales. Since nobody said you had to pay to get into the party and nobody said you had to buy something.. it is just a social gathering in my eyes.. that happens to have goodies to buy if you choose. Back in the day women had Tupperware parties all the time to get together and gossip and get out of the house.
