Marilyn, the List has been incredibly useful. thank you for starting it! Can't imagine I'd be doing SCD without it. Re: Yogurt: Now I get why some folks talk about the tartness of their yogurt. Mine--till a day or two ago-- has been creamy and mild. The difference is the starter. I've done an inadvertent yogurt taste test. Had been using FAGE Greek Yogurt. Makes SCD yogurt that is mild and creamy. Realized some folks make using Dannon Plain as starter. Less $$. So bought Dannon, made my first batch. Big difference. Tart. Not as creamy. Have yet to try official starter. Locally it is $5+, and having the FAGE, had not ordered any. Am not thrilled w Dannon results. If you want tart, this is a way to get that taste.
