Guest guest
LOL. I was reading your mail and at first thought the " boxers " were your son's underwear. LOL..... Now I see you meant dogs. See what fibro fog does to us. Merry Christmas and I am glad you are better. love and hugs, Debra V. Anyway, I decided not to extend the invite to . I might settle for a little with my eggnog. So far so good today. I'm feeling better than I did yesterday. Rockie gets along with my son's boxers just fine. It's cute, they are all playing together. Penni (my pit mix) and Bella (my son's female) don't get along. I'm sort of what they fight over. They both have sort of a Diva thing going. So we have to keep them apart. I love all the comments. They made me smile; and also chill out. So I'm alot better now. We'll see if makes an appearance. Yep, they are named after men aren't they. LOL. But seriously, about the booze, I don't see any harm in a drink once in a while. However, for some people it does not mix with meds and also can irritate the fibro monster. So it probably is not worth it. I use to have a good time about once every month or so with my hubby. We would go out and I would have Cuervo gold margartias and a couple of shots. I could handle it a few years ago. I can't now. LOL. So I have not drank a drop in the last 2 years hardly. I don't really miss it though. I will add though,,,,,, , the flare that sent me screaming and made me know something was wrong ... it all started after 2 nights of partying. I think the booze kicked the FM into full swing and that is when my hands were attacked. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with FM. I had it for years, but I just did not realize it. So, yes, take heed. The alcohol truly can send the fibro into full force. Angie, I hope things work out soon. How terrible for your own parents to turn on you like that. Do they believe you have a real illness or do they just think you are crazy????? That is so sad. love and hugs, Debra V. But, you know, old , he really ain't no friend of mine,... nor yours either!!! I know it sounds soooo tempting, but I also know he's a 'fair weather' friend, and he loves to cause trouble!! You REALLY don't need that in your life right now, not the kind of troubles he brings with him!! And, WHY do you think so many kinds of booze are named after men anyway? Right!!Cos they no good!!! I really do feel for you. This time of year puts so much extra pressure on all of us, and sometimes it's nearly the straw that breaks the camel's back. Just hang in there Angie, we're all here for you. Your kids will do just fine, and if your parents insist on acting like keds too...well, just treat them like kids!! I do hope you are feeling better tomorrow. I will be keeping my fingers crossed.
