This really interesting reading as I think fat is affecting me. I have been on ScD & my improvements have been fantastic, going from 15-20 trips per day of water stools to 1-2 trips of formed stools.

I still have some pain, which is just below my chest on the left side and opposite down the left side of my upper back. Its just like someone has put a knife through me, extremely painful. This is not present all the time, but i get this pain probably 5 days out of 7 usually in the evening. Initially I put it down to almond flour as this seemed to aggravate it, but thinking about it, the only time I eat almond flour is in yonana muffins, and I tend to half them and spread them with butter. Therefore it is high in fat. I also use quite a lot of butter and oil in my cooking. Could the fat be causing this pain? I have also noticed that when I have been to the toilet, their is a greasy layer on the water, even now when I have formed stools.

I had my gall bladder removed prior to diagnosis of crohns

My doc says the pain is muscular, but im not convinced of this at all.

The list of all the things you dont eat is interesting. Can you tell me what kinds of things you do eat? How do you put meals together?

Thanks
